大西洋沿岸のニューファンドランド島。面積は北海道の約1.3倍。ニューファンドランド・ラブラドール州の州都セントジョンズがある。
これは島の略図とムース（ヘラジカ）を描く作品。寒冷な地域だが鮮やかな彩色が美しい。全長58cm。
