「Hongkong」(ホンコン、現:中国) 香港(Hong Kong)。これはイギリス植民地時代(1945〜97年)、1970年代頃のもの。水上生活者とその船が多かったことで知られた香港仔 (ﾎﾝｺﾝﾂｧｲ, アバディーン)の港を描く。海上レストランやノスタルジックな景色が観光客に人気だった。 前回に紹介したシンガポールのペナントと同じ造りなので、表記はないがおそらく日本産だろう。全長61cm。 ［1970年代頃/ #ヴィンテージ ］ Souvenir pennant in the world, my collection. 「阿里山の旅」(ありしゃん〜、台湾) 台湾の国家風景区(国立公園)阿里山。これは阿里山郷の姊妹潭(姉妹潭)と相思亭を描く。タイトルにひらがなが使われ、日本人観光客向けの製品だろうか。透明ポリ袋に定価100ニュー台湾ドル※とプリントされ、興味深い。全長61cm。 ［1980年代?/ #ヴィンテージ ］ ※ 100ニュー台湾ドルは、当時(1980年代頃と推定)のレートで600円くらい。なお、このペナントは日本のお土産ペナントを参考にデザインされているようだ。 Souvenir #pennant in the world, my collection. ▲お土産 ペナント 「鎌倉」(かまくら、神奈川県) 鎌倉市。これは鶴岡八幡宮(ﾂﾙｶﾞｵｶｰ)と高徳院の鎌倉大仏。 添えられた歌は "志づやしづ 賤のをだまき くり返し むかしを今に なすよしもがな"、静御前。 鎌倉のペナントは数多いが、与謝野晶子の "鎌倉や御仏なれど釈迦牟尼は〜"ではないのは非常に珍しい。全長57cm。 ［1970年代頃/ #昭和レトロ ］ Souvenir pennant in Japan, my collection. 「野辺山髙原」(のべやま～、長野県) 南佐久郡、野辺山高原 。 これは小海線と国鉄（現JR）標高最高駅・ #野辺山駅 の標柱（1345.67m）、そして"高原のポニー"の愛称で知られた蒸気機関車を描く。八ヶ岳の雄大な景色と列車が美しく、ノスタルジック。全長64cm。 [1970～80年代/ #昭和100年 ] 1, 野辺山高原のペナント。白い布にイラストをプリント。ペナントの左にクリーム色のリボン、2本付き。 2, イラストは八ヶ岳の山並みと蒸気機関車が牽引する列車。国鉄標高最高駅の標柱。 3, イラストの拡大。八ヶ岳の険しい山並みは雪山のように白いが、山麓の高原は緑でコントラストを成している。煙を上げて走る列車の蒸気機関車は実際はC56とのことだが、ディテールは不明瞭で正確ではない。"国鉄標高最高駅" の標柱はディテールも明らかに大きく描かれて、ペナントのモチーフのキャプションを兼ねている。 4, タイトルは和文。筆文字風の楷書体で "野辺山髙原" （赤） 。"髙" の字は、はしご高。キャプションは "1345.67M" （黒）で、これは野辺山駅の標高であり、国鉄標高最高地点のものではない。なお、ペナントの右端に "国定公園" （黒）を付記している。これは八ヶ岳中信国定公園を指す。 -------------------------------------------------- Souvenir #pennant in Japan, my collection. 「那須高原」(なす〜、栃木県) 那須町。これは高原と名所の殺生石(ｾｯｼｮｳｾｷ,国:名勝)の伝承と俳句を描く作品。白面金毛九尾の狐と、松尾芭蕉の弟子・麻父の作になる"飛ぶものは 雲ばかりなり 石の上"。石そのものではなく文化的側面に触れていて面白い。全長60cm。 ［1970年代頃/ #昭和レトロ ］ Souvenir #pennant in Japan, my collection. 「あやめ池」(奈良県) 奈良市の近鉄あやめ池遊園地(1926〜2004年)。遊園地の他、動物園,温泉,OSK日本歌劇団の劇場,花菖蒲園などがあった。 これは遊園地と円形劇場を中心に描く。賑やかな園地と、青地に金を合わせた独特のイラストが面白い。全長62.5cm。 ［1970〜80年代/ #昭和レトロ ］ Souvenir pennant in Japan, my collection. 「越後 大湯」(えちご おおゆ、新潟県) 魚沼市(ｳｵﾇﾏｰ)。開湯は8世紀、行基(ｷﾞｮｳｷ)によるとされ歴史が古い。信濃川水系の佐梨川(ｻﾅｼｰ)に面し、山間の閑静な温泉郷を描く。当地は奥只見シルバーライン(1957年ダム建設用道路,71年一般通行開始)の起点となっており、奥只見ダム(60年)が描かれていて興味深い。全長48.5cm 。 ［1960〜70年代/ #昭和100年 ］ Souvenir pennant in Japan, my collection. 「Naeba」(新潟県) 南魚沼郡湯沢町の苗場スキー場。1961年に西武プリンスホテルにより開業、近年はフジロックフェスティバルの会場としても知られる。ペナントは数多い。 これは滑走するスキーヤーを描く作品。ダイカットを施したスポーティーな構成が印象的。全長64cm。 [1960～70年代/ #昭和100年 ] 【画像の説明】 1, 苗場スキー場のペナント。黒い布にイラストをプリント。クリーム色の編み紐、2本付き。 なお、旗の左辺は頂点のある２つのラウンドでダイカットされている。これは紋章やワッペンのデザイン・意匠の引用だろう。 2, イラストはゲレンデを滑走するスキーヤー。雪の積もった樹木や越後の山々も描かれてリアルな印象。スキーヤーはニット帽にゴーグルを着けたカジュアルなスタイル。スキーヤーを囲むように、英字のキャプション "winter. sports Ski" (白)が白いアンダーラインとともに加えられている。 3, タイトルはローマ字・斜体で "Naeba" (赤)。 4, ペナントの右端に、クロスしたスキーの板2枚(黄色)と翼を広げた鷲(?)を組み合わせたマークが描かれている。これはヨーロッパのペナントによく見られる紋章のイメージの引用だろう。 Souvenir #pennant in Japan, my collection. ▲お土産 ペナント 「FUNABASHI」(ふなばし、千葉県) 船橋市の"船橋ヘルスセンター" (1955〜77年)。温泉,屋内外プール,演芸場,遊園地等を集めた巨大レジャー施設、ランドマークだった。跡地は現:ららぽーとTOKYOｰBAYとして再開発されている。 これは本館・大コマ館を中心にゴーゴーを踊るファミリー(?)を描いて楽しい作品。全長61cm。 ［1960年代頃/ 昭和レトロ ］ Souvenir pennant in Japan, my collection. "FUNABASHI" 船橋, Chiba Prefecture. This is a pennant of Funabashi Health Center (船橋ヘルスセンター), a hot spring leisure facility that existed in Funabashi City from 1955 to 1977. It was one of the landmarks of the area, with hot springs, swimming pools, and an amusement park on its vast grounds. It is currently being redeveloped into a huge shopping mall.
